Later on we incorporated 4 directors from 2007 onwards. As a medium sized Company, our core operations are mainly focused on pharmaceutical distribution to the whole of Maldives inducing resorts, localsʼ islands, Clinics and Hospitals. We operate through a central go-downs facility to maintain deliveries of goods to anywhere within Maleʼ. Dial Trade maintains a competitive edge in the market by providing this industry with quality products with the most equitable pricing. During which we have joined hands with different partners around Asia strengthening brand identities to meet quality standards Dial Trade & Travels Pte Ltd, operates a wholesale operation along with one retail outlet under the names,
Dial Pharmacy in Maleʼ, and also runs a 16 room local island guesthouse in Vaavu Atoll, Fulidhoo.

During the initial stage, its operations evolved within the context of managing a number of trading services by the name of Ê»Dial Trade & Travels Private Limited’. Due to the popularity and service-oriented approach its clients that recognise the value of its partners whose works diligently and creatively to find the best possible solution for each particular operation. The firm has 2 shareholders, since the beginning of its operations in 1992.

It has been a long journey since 2007 to step into pharmaceutical industry with enormous challanges to reaching where we are today.
I am overwelved to be part of our Team representing a wide range of quality pharmaceuticals to meet the different needs of the Maldivian public.
We have been able to maintain the legacy left behind by our Chairman(s) Mr. Mohamed Shakeel and Mr. Ibrahim Adam, that even today they continue to be part of this team in persuing Trade opportunities for this company.
Both Mr. Mohamed Shakeel & Mr. Ibrahim Adam (Manik) shared common jobs in government in early 70's & 80's, and landed at STO medical supplies.
The interest in medical supplies took them to leave their government jobs to open their first enterprise named "Roots Pharmacy" founded in 1988.
Hence, the need for pharmaceutical industry to florish, both partners formed a company "Dial Trade & Travels Pte Ltd, in 1992. Since than, Dial Trade has been renowned as a leading pharmaceuticals supplier in the Maldives, catering to various hospital, clinics and pharmacies.
